Gregory M. Alnwick, PT, DPT, OCS, presents “How Pain Works” to Gorham, NH 7th graders. The curriculum provides our youth with alternative resources and therapies to reduce their fear of pain. This program is part of a strategy to mitigate the effects of the pain epidemic and is a collaborative effort between Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital and Androscoggin Valley Hospital. “How Pain Works” is made possible by generous donations from the Bangor Savings Bank Foundation and the Tillotson North Country Foundation.
