Emergency Care

The Emergency Department at Androscoggin Valley Hospital provides state-of-the-art emergency medical care by emergency trained physicians — 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  In addition to being the largest 911 receiving facility for the region, AVH provides care for patients who arrive with a health crisis that needs immediate attention.

Each year, our emergency suite provides care to thousands of patients.

NOTE: AVH will never turn away any patient who needs emergency care.
