Patients & Visitors Information
We’re here to guide our patients and visitors along the way when visiting our facility.
For the safety of our patients, providers, nurses, and staff, limited visitors are allowed in the hospital; clinical discretion is used.
Due to a recent increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the local community, visitors to Androscoggin Valley Hospital are limited to the following, with exceptions made on a case-by-case basis, by our patient care team:
- End-of-life care
- One parent or guardian for each pediatric patient
- One visitor for each labor and delivery patient
- Visitors are screened for COVID/flu-like or respiratory symptoms, such as fever, cough, congestion, sore throat, or shortness of breath. Temperatures are taken. Any visitor with obvious signs of illness will be restricted from entering. We apologize for any inconvenience.
