Who We Are:

Founded in 1956, the Androscoggin Valley Hospital Auxiliary was established for the purpose of providing services to the Hospital, its patients and the community at large. It acts as a goodwill ambassador, promotes healthy living and raises financial contributions through on-going fundraising efforts.

What We Do:

The AVH Auxilians play an important role in helping the Hospital maintain quality services through fundraising programs. The two largest events are the annual AVH Golf Tournament, and the Sunny Corner Gift Shop.

Where the Money Goes:

Proceeds from fund-raisers help to purchase new patient care equipment and beautify the Hospital and its campus. The Auxiliary also sponsors many projects such as the Annemarie Teddy Bear Program for pediatric patients and Health-A-Rama, a health conference for teens.

Why We Volunteer:

Volunteering is a source of enrichment and pride. AVH Auxilians are dedicated to making a difference in the community by contributing a most precious resource – time – toward making our Hospital and community a better place. It’s a great opportunity to develop new interests and make new friends, while performing needed services.

You Can Make a Difference:

By joining us, you can make a difference in our community. AVH Auxilians are people of all ages, men and women, retirees, homemakers, and people with careers.
