NCH Announces Executive Committee of the Board of Directors Elected in March

COÖS COUNTY, NH – APRIL 23, 2026 – North Country Healthcare (NCH) is pleased to announce the Executive Committee of the NCH Board of Directors, elected in March, bringing together a group of experienced, community-rooted leaders committed to advancing high-quality, patient-centered care across the North Country.

Representing communities across the region, the Executive Committee reflects a shared dedication to strengthening healthcare access, improving communication, and ensuring long-term sustainability for the System and its Affiliates.

“I am genuinely excited about the future of North Country Healthcare as we continue bringing our people, systems, and services together to better serve our patients and our communities,” said Board Chair Roxie Severance.

The NCH Executive Committee includes:

Roxie Severance, Chair, a healthcare consultant and former CEO with decades of experience in senior services, workforce development, and strategic planning who previously chaired the North Country Home Health & Hospice Agency Board and currently sits on the Board as a member.

Dave Thatcher, Vice Chair, a finance and operations leader with deep expertise in financial strategy, analytics, and organizational performance and currently chairs the Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital Board.

Tom McCue, Treasurer, an attorney with more than 30 years of experience and a strong history of public service and community leadership and has been a member of the AVH Board of Directors since 2018.
Greg Placy, Secretary, a Colebrook resident, Selectman, and retired civil engineer who has served with NCH since its formation and previously chaired Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital as well as the NCH Board.

“I attended all of our recent community listening sessions, and I want people to know they were heard,” Severance added. “The Board is committed to improving how we communicate and building trust through transparency and follow-through.”

Together, the Executive Committee works in partnership with NCH leadership to guide strategic priorities, strengthen community relationships, and ensure accountability to the patients and communities served.

“We are proud to lead an organization where patients come first,” said Severance. “Achievements like our 99.5% medication wristband scanning rate reflect the level of care our teams deliver every day.”
North Country Healthcare includes Androscoggin Valley Hospital, Weeks Medical Center, Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital, and North Country Home Health & Hospice Agency, and remains focused on delivering high-quality care close to home.

“That level of reliability is only possible because we have first-class staff providing first-class care,” Severance said.
