Having a baby is an amazing and life-changing experience. At Androscoggin Valley Hospital’s Valley Birthplace, we are honored to be a part of your joyous occasion. We believe in a family-centered approach during this personal experience. As expectant mothers and fathers, you can count on our medical and nursing expertise to guide you through this exciting time in your lives. From childbirth education classes, labor, delivery, breastfeeding, and then going home, we will be there for you every step of the way.

Our board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist, Dr. Krzysztof Z. Plociennik, and staff of dedicated nurses are here to ensure that every new mother has a safe, comfortable, and highly personal experience.

This is why we offer private labor/delivery suites featuring large, private rooms with hardwood floors, flat-screen TVs with DVD/CD players, cozy gliders, modern bathrooms with showers, soaking tubs and other comforts of home, like a refrigerator in your room. Our staff offers a soothing environment and personalized, high-quality care for healthy and safe childbirth. We keep your needs and desires our priority during your labor and birthing experience.
