Program Goals
The Occupational Health Services staff provides large and small companies with a wide range of health-related services. Program goals include:
- Improve the general health of the company’s employees
- Reduce absenteeism rate
- Prevent injuries
- Increase employee productivity
- Improve employee health & wellbeing
On-Site Rehabilitation Programs
Our on-site rehabilitation programs are designed to help injured and recovering employees return to work safely through job site analysis, job shadow, ergonomic assessment and work capacity evaluation.
Educational Programs
Our programs meet federal training requirements, as well as increase employees’ health and awareness through the following:
- CPR and First Aid Training
- Bloodborne pathogen training
- Alcohol and drug testing for supervisors
- Back safety programs and work station set up/analysis through our ergonomics team
- Cumulative trauma prevention (Carpal Tunnel prevention)
- Smoking cessation and management
Wellness & Fitness Programs
We will work with your staff to reduce employee illness and absenteeism through:
- OSHA audiology screenings for your employees
- Cholesterol, blood sugar, cardiac risk factor screenings
- Flu shots, TB screening and education
- Nutritional counseling and weight management
- Women’s and men’s health issues
Pre-Employment Services
- Drug screens
- Physical therapy screens
- Respirator clearance evaluations
- Pulmonary function tests and mask fits
Drug & Alcohol Testing
Our Occupational Health program will work to reduce drug and alcohol abuse while complying with regulatory agency requirements. Our Drug and Alcohol Consortium provides:
- Pre-employment physicals
- Record keeping
- Follow-up and return-to-duty testing
- Drug-free policy writing assistance
- DOT physicals
- Pre-employment physicals
